SKYBOT legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: August 13, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the SKYBOT mobile application, website, APIs, and related services operated by Meetta.
1. Acceptance of these terms
SKYBOT is operated by Meetta. By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using SKYBOT, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge the SKYBOT Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use SKYBOT.
If you use SKYBOT on behalf of a school or another organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- Provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current.
- Protect your credentials and promptly notify us if you believe your account or device has been compromised.
- Use only accounts and school affiliations you are authorized to use.
- BiTS member and administrator capabilities may require verification and may be suspended or removed when eligibility changes.
- A parent, guardian, school, or other authorized organization must provide any consent required for a minor to use SKYBOT.
3. School and water-program data
Water levels, usage, quality measurements, maintenance information, activities, and participant counts should be recorded carefully and only by authorized users. You are responsible for checking submitted information and for having permission to upload related images and reports.
SKYBOT analytics are provided for program tracking and education. They are not professional engineering, environmental, laboratory, health, or safety advice and should not replace qualified testing or judgment.
School points and rankings are in-app program indicators only. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and may be corrected, recalculated, suspended, or removed when records are inaccurate, duplicated, abusive, or affected by a technical error.
4. Your content
You retain any ownership rights you have in content you submit. You grant SKYBOT a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content and that it does not violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.
You may report content or conduct that violates these terms by contacting info@mail.meetta.org and identifying the content or account. We may review, restrict, or remove content and may restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, schools, or the service.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use SKYBOT to:
- Break the law, violate another person's rights, or submit content without authorization.
- Harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or mislead another person or school.
- Upload malicious code, unlawful material, sensitive credentials, or content that is harmful, deceptive, or inappropriate for a school community.
- Manipulate school points, rankings, water records, activity records, or verification processes through false, duplicate, automated, or coordinated submissions.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, or interfere with SKYBOT or its providers except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Use another user's account or collect information about users without permission.
6. SKYBOT content and intellectual property
SKYBOT and its licensors retain rights in the application, branding, software, designs, and content provided by us. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended school rainwater-program purposes.
7. Third-party services
SKYBOT relies on third-party platforms for authentication, hosting, storage, chat, email, and notifications. Your use of those features may also be subject to the provider's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, and their availability may affect SKYBOT.
8. Availability and changes
We may modify, update, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of SKYBOT. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available access. You are responsible for maintaining any independent records your school is required to keep.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe an account violates these terms, threatens users or the service, is no longer authorized by its organization, or must be restricted to comply with law. You may stop using SKYBOT at any time. You may initiate account deletion from Account Settings in the app or through the SKYBOT Account and Data Deletion page.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, SKYBOT is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, SKYBOT and the people involved in operating it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Liability that cannot legally be limited remains unaffected.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as SKYBOT changes. The updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them, except where applicable law requires another form of notice or consent.
